Which is the better cover?

With so many wonderful book covers around,I wanted to know your opinion on which one is the better of the two covers of a book series released till now? I have chosen a few of my favorite book covers(all of them are paranormal and enormously popular)...these need no introduction! So tell me which is the lovelier cover-the 1st book's or its sequel's?(Sorry for the weird sizes and alignment of the books.. :()

    Hmm... That's tough!

    I think that Torment, Beatiful Creatures, Cresendo, and Iron King have the best covers.

    BTW, I love the idea of comparing the covers of a series. :)

    @Cara and @Sarah Thank you! Your choices are lovely but I hope you wont think me to be too indecisive if I say I couldn't prefer one more between Fallen/Torment,Hush Hush/Crescendo and Iron King/Iron Daughter! All the covers are so gorg!
